Beyond fibers and fabrics.

I study textile engineering with a focus on where fibers meet function — advanced materials, smart textiles, nanotechnology and sustainable textile processing. My interest sits in the space between a material’s structure and the behaviour it produces: how a finish changes thermal comfort, how a nanoscale coating creates durable antibacterial or UV-protective performance and how these can be achieved with processes that are cleaner than the ones they replace.
